As part of Derbyshire County Council’s commitment to tackling the effects of climate change, we plan to facilitate the planting of a million trees in the county by 2030. This initiative is called Million Trees and work has already begun to meet our ambitious target.
We have lots of support and advice available on how to plant and maintain for your trees. Once planted, trees are resilient but do require some care to ensure they can grow and thrive for generations to come. Click to learn more about how to plant and care for your trees.
If you have planted any trees since June 2021 please submit them to our online map so they can be added to our totaliser!
